Why are we holding marriage events?
From speaking to Muslims who attend other marriage events, we found that many found
most events uncomfortable with conversations forced, and time at a minimum. Not
ideal when you are trying to find that special someone!
We aim for our events to be very different from all the other events out there.
We want our events to be a fun night out - regardless of whether you do meet someone
of interest or not, whilst keeping in mind the need to ensure the event is conducted
with the correct ettiquete and intention. We want our participants to always leave
with a smile on their face!
How do I purchase a ticket?
Tickets are available to everyone - whether you are a member of muzmatch or not.
To book, simply click the BOOK TICKET button and you will be directed to the Paypal
payment page. Note that if you are a member of muzmatch, then please do log in and
then attempt to book, and instead payment will be taken using your available credit.
For members who wish to purchase a ticket, you must ensure your account has sufficient
credit - so please top up first before purchasing!
If I am not a member of muzmatch but I purchase a ticket, what benefits do I
miss out on?
We advise anyone who wishes to attend our marriage events to register on muzmatch
(for free!), top up their account and then book their ticket. This way you will be able to browse the
profiles of all members attending the event beforehand, as well as get special exclusive awards
- such as free complimentary credit to use on muzmatch!
What do you do with the money raised from the event?
Ticket sales cover cost of the function including meals to participants as well
as logistics. Currently muzmatch is a new and growing website aiming to serve those
seeking marriage. All extra proceeds from the event (after costs) will be ploughed
back into the site. It will help greatly to cover our costs as well as allowing
us to boost our marketing efforts in order to attract new members. This keeps the
site fresh and useful to our members. Inshallah the more members we have, the more
choice you have and the more chances you find your perfect Muslim Marriage partner!
